Christmas Cards: Door Wreath

I was playing around with the 2012 Holiday Tag set from Papertrey. I am in love with the wreath in the set. And I decided it needed a door. I've seen some really nice door dies in my travels on the internet but I never bought one. So I had to make my own. Or at least my concept of a door. Anyhow, this is what I came up with using the wreath stamp, some Scarlet Jewel cardstock and patterned paper, as well as the Think Big Favorites #20 (I love the design of this sentiment) all from Papertrey Ink. Oh yeah - I decided to cut a hole in the stamped wreath image so I used a circle Nestabilities.Oops forgot the sentiment is stamped on the PTI Christmas Label die. Such a pretty shape dontcha think?
Hoping you have a fun Saturday! Thanks for stopping by.

I wanted to buy that stamp set just for the wreath. It looks wonderful hanging on your door.

Tracey, it was so kind of you to ask how I fared from the storm. I was one of the lucky ones. We lost some siding from our house and food in the refrigerator, but that was it. The power came back on Thursday afternoon and life is starting to return to normal or as normal as can be with stores running short on food and limited gas to be had. That, too, can be handled when the family is healthy. My heart breaks for those people who lost family and homes in the storm.
I actually lived in Parsippany the first six months of my life, moved to upstate NY, and then returned to Morristown at six years old. I'm currently in Morris Plains, one town over from Parsippany. I cannot place St. Peter's, but definitely know Morris Catholic. It truly is a small world.
