Jingle Belles 04
the challenge this week - to use colors: Pink, Dark Pink and Lime Green - and possibly use papers that aren't necessarily Christmas. I looked thru my stash and found some old KI Memories paper - one of which was called "Summer" :-) I used my Stampinup Top Note die and also a Christmas tree die, threw in a few gems, and punched some of the striped paper with a star punch and used some holographic EP to make it sparkle a little. Not totally thrilled with my results but i kinda like it. If you haven't joined in the Jingle Belles challenge yet - give it a try - it's a lot of fun and hey - I've got 4 cards already!

Love how you decorated your sweet little holiday tree ... and how fun that some "summer" paper worked so perfectly for your holiday design ... thanks for joining our jingle belle journey.
Your tree is so cute! I love that you added bling to give it some Christmas sparkle. I love me some sparkle :)
What a cute little blog banner you have (you were an adorable little one!).
Your card came out great- I think sometimes we are our harshest critics when the results aren't what we envision perfectly. I like the tree set off not only by the patterned paper but also that vibrantly colored frame - the blingy accents are striking too!
well i kinda ♥LOVE♥ it!!! (in fact, i TOTALLY love it!) so there! seriously, the first thing i thought when i saw this was, "i HAVE both of those dies...WHY didn't i think of this??!?!?!" it's brilliant as a concept AND ALSO as a use of the color palette AND ALSO additionally as a master class in ADAPTING what one has in new ways. i cannot possibly decide *WHICH* of those feats are most impressive...but there is a VERY STRONG cumulative effect!!! ♥♥♥♥♥
(ps: have i mentioned how much I LOVE that you're back online, missus??!?! i soooooooo missed ya!!!) ♥♥♥
I'd say you'd found the perfect background paper for this challenge. The tree looks fabulous in front of it. Wonderfully done!
Oh so caute I love this! TFS!
So adorable. Makes me think of ribbon candy at Christmastime. (hee, hee!)
